        Stone Type: Spara Bridge Plaque Stone
        Grid Reference: SX/8434/8408
        Location: Built into the northern parapet of Spara Bridge over the River Teign, beside the B3193 at Ashton.
        Inscription: This Bridge was  New Build at the Countys Charges 1660. 
        Notes: The above inscription is guesswork as the stone has become so cracked that the inscription is now almost illegible.
