        Stone Type: Wall Plaque Marker Stone
        Grid Reference: SX/9223/9233
        Location: Built into the wall of the old RD&E Hospital in Southernhay East.
        Inscription: The Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital / This Foundation Stone of the New Out-Patient Department was laid by the Right Worshipful the Mayor of Exeter James William Ackroyd Esquire on the 20th Day of February 1935.

 Location: Built into the end wall of the old RD&E Hospital, in the road leading down to the County Court Building.              
 Inscription: This Tablet Records the Bicentenary of the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital 1741-1941.

              Inscription: This Partition Wall between the Moieties of a Tenement now Separately held under the Dean and Chapter was built at the Hospital Expense A.D. 1759.

                Location: Outside the Civic Centre, Southernhay East, Exeter.
                Notes: This plaque is one of many that commemorates the route taken by Lieut.  Location: Enclosed by a fence, on the green opposite the west entrance to the Cathedral.                
 Inscription: The County of Devon to Her Glorious Dead 1914 + 1919 / Te Deum Laudamus 1939 + 1945.                
 Notes: The Cross serves as a War Memorial and the Literal Translation of the Latin: 'Te Deum Laudamus' is: 'You, God, We Praise'.

                Inscription: St Martin's Gate Removed 1819.

Inscription: This stone was placed here to Commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria 1837 - 1897 / Also to mark where the North Gate Formerly Stood.
